Hotel Review: Hilton Grand Vacation Club at SeaWorld (Orlando)

I recently had a stay at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club Hotel at SeaWorld, Orlando, Florida.

Check In

When you get to the property, you can pull over and park on the side of the road in front of the main building (for check-in). Once you are checked-in, you can drive over to your building lot.  There is plenty of parking at this property.  Check-in starts at 4PM.  Maybe the hotel was busy because it was near the holidays, but check in was agonizingly slow.  We waited in line for at least a half-hour (Yikes!)   They had staff handing out small bags of popcorn.  At one point, a staff even brought in a box of pizza – an unusual sight.

The check-in itself was uneventful.

All the room type at this property are suites.  We booked a 2 king, 2 bedroom suite.  There are two door entrances to the room.  It’s basically just two rooms combined into one to make the suite.

Overall

This is a good vacation club for a family stay — the suites are very clean and spacious. The hotel offers complimentary parking, as well as free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove, Universal Orlando.  The only downside during my stay was the long wait at check-in.  Otherwise, this is a very safe and comfortable property near SeaWorld.
