Travel Deal: Flights to Reykjavik starting from $269 (BOS) and $398 (NYC)

Is Iceland Calling To You?

A hat-tip to The Flight Deals.

If Iceland is beckoning you, now is your chance to visit.  There is currently an Icelandair travel deal where you can fly from Boston to Iceland for under $300 round-trip, and just under $400 from New York.  This deal won’t last for long.

Icelandair has a one baggage allowance for an economy flight:

As of the publishing of this post, there is still availability.

Current Availability by City Pairing

1. Boston to Iceland (April – May 2017 Availability)

The deal availability is sparse in April, but there is more availability in May.  If you are short on vacation time, you could easily take a day or two before the weekend and extend the trip into the weekend.

2. New York to Iceland (April – May 2017 Availability)

I am not seeing any fares under $300 from NYC for April or May  The lowest priced round-trip starts at $389.  This is still generally considered a “good” fare.  If you don’t mind paying just a little more, you could still fly to Iceland with plenty of availability in May.

3. Washington DC to Iceland (April – May 2017 Availability)

For those who reside in DC, the deal appears to be gone already.  The lowest round-trip pricing I see for May/June from DC is $663 and $572, respectively.

If you are looking for a cheap fare to Iceland and the dates/city pairing/pricing works for you, this might just be what you’re looking for to kickstart your vacation.

The deal is available as of publishing of this post.  Please note that these deals don’t typically last very long.
